About this event
Architectural drawings, models, archival images, photographs and video explore the role of architecture in the transformation of newly independent Western African nations. The exhibition includes around four hundred objects relating to Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria and Cameroon.
It examines modern architecture’s connections to Pan-Africanism and Africanization. The exhibition was already open before this research period and remains announced through January 2, 2027. Separately advertised study days and performances require their own schedule checks.
