About this event
Celebrate Diwali at Central Library with a free afternoon of South Asian arts, stories and performances for all ages. The published program includes dance, film screenings, paper lantern crafts, rangoli, diya decorating and meditation sessions. Meera Sriram is among the featured authors.
Activities run from 2 to 4 p.m. across several library spaces, with individual sessions scheduled within that window. Some henna activities are limited to the first 35 participants, and book giveaways are limited. The teen conversation with Nidhi Chanani is virtual; the festival also includes in-person activities. Check the official timetable to choose suitable sessions rather than assuming every activity runs throughout the afternoon.
