About this event
Okwui Okpokwasili and Peter Born, working together as sweat variant, continue a speculative trilogy about a family’s connection to the transatlantic slave trade. In a near-future United States, a young woman who has been taught to disregard her history begins receiving transmissions that open other possibilities. The production combines dance, theater and visual art. BAM lists five performances lasting ninety minutes without an intermission.
