About this event
Dorothée Munyaneza’s solo draws on philosopher Elsa Dorlin’s text about Tituba, the heroine associated with Maryse Condé’s writing. Through movement and multiple perspectives, the work considers people whose voices have been suppressed or removed from historical accounts. This BAM-associated production takes place offsite at New York Live Arts. Two evening performances are announced, and booking is handled by the host venue rather than BAM’s bundle system.
