Diwali: Lights of India fills Seattle Center’s Armory Food & Event Hall on November 7, from noon to 6 p.m. Part of the Festál cultural series, the free public festival brings together Indian classical music, dance, percussion, visual art and hands-on activities.
The published program includes a youth violin ensemble, Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance, Kathak, folk dance and an Indian classical choir. Activities are distributed across the stage, floor, balcony and lofts, including art galleries, workshops and a roti-making demonstration.
