About this event
The New York City Marathon covers 26.2 miles across all five boroughs, from Staten Island to a Central Park finish in Manhattan. The 2026 edition takes place on November 1 and marks fifty years of the five-borough course.
Running requires an accepted entry through one of NYRR’s official entry routes; this agenda listing does not provide a place. Participants have assigned starts and transport arrangements, so a single universal starting time is not supplied here. Spectators should use the organizer’s viewing guidance and check the route’s road and access restrictions.
Organizer: New York Road Runners
Registration & participation: A confirmed NYRR entry is required to run. Consult your runner account for assigned start and transport details.
